An abundance of textured seasonal flowers, capturing the essence of an English garden in July, set the tone for this summers day. A delicate pastel palette of pale pinks and light blues complemented the bride’s favourite blooms—stocks, delphiniums, sweet peas, peonies, hydrangeas, and lisianthus. She favoured relaxed, natural arrangements with airy ‘spires’ of flowers, creating an effortlessly unstructured and romantic feel.

The floral requirements included bridal arrangements, church florals that were moved up to the coach house after the ceremony, table settings for 80 guests, staircase flowers, and room décor, all thoughtfully curated to create a beautifully cohesive aesthetic

Budget needed approx £2500 (prices as of 2024)

An intimate wedding at The Gothic Cottage, Stourhead

Venue https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wiltshire/stourhead/hire-a-venue-at-stourhead

Photographer https://www.salakophotography.co.uk/

Planning and Budget

This June wedding was full to the brim of seasonal locally grown flowers mirroring a strong connection to the natural beauty of Stourhead. The gothic cottage was such an incredibly intimate and cosy space to hold their ceremony.

The floral arrangements all featured colourful wildflowers carefully curated to strike a balance between being neither too pastel nor overly opulent. Full of eye-catching colours that felt organic and naturally abundant whilst mixed foliages added depth, texture, and movement to the arrangements on the beams.

Budget needed approx £2500 for bridal items and decorating the cottage (prices as of 2024)

A dreamy palette of nudes and mink, accented with soft peaches and the palest blue, set the tone for this elegant floral design. Light, fresh, and whimsical seasonal blooms were at the heart of the vision. With late May bringing fuller blossoms, the arrangements embraced the season’s natural abundance.

Lush roses and peonies took center stage, complemented by delicate garden flowers such as Nigella and Orlaya, adding an airy, romantic touch.

The floral requirements included bridal arrangements, ceremony florals, table settings for 90 guests, staircase flowers, and room décor, all thoughtfully curated to create a beautifully cohesive aesthetic

Budget needed approx £2500 (prices as of 2023)

I feel so lucky and privileged to do the job that I do and the couples that I flower for are hands down the best most loveliest people you’ll find. Josh and Willow were no exception to this, in fact it makes me smile to even think about them and their day!

Their wedding was on my birthday and there wasn’t a nicer way to celebrate than putting together beautiful flowers for a lovely couple. I can remember it being a lovely warm day and totally enjoying it. When I arrived at Pennard I was wished Happy Birthday and given some bubbly and chocolates from them because like I said, my couples are the best!

The colour palette was soft pastel Pinks and Whites which always look so pretty alongside a silvery Grey foliage all arranged in a romantic flowing way in a natural garden inspired style.

Planning and budget

Blousy ‘Quicksand’ Roses were mixed with Butterfly Ranunculus. Stocks and Sweet Peas were added for fragrance. Astilbe and Erica were added for a fluffy texture.

The stairs were decorated in two sections. The bottom as I often do to create a warm welcome but we also decorated the middle landing on the opposite side to carry the flowers up the stairs.

There was an arrangement used for the ceremony table which was then moved infront of the sweetheart table along with two pedestals which were moved to the coach house entrance doors.

Requirements included bouquets, buttonholes, hair flowers, the ceremony, the stairs, tables and a little foliage on the beams.

Budget needed approx. £1500 (prices as of 2022)

1,700 days and a baby in the making of Laura and Xander’s wedding! Admittedly, this was a pandemic wedding but their welcome sign was one that will stay in my heart and memory for a long time

‘ WE HAVE WAITED 1,700 DAYS FOR THIS……PARTY ACCORDINGLY’

It was also a mentally windy day, like proper gale force winds that were so strong the pedestal wouldn’t stay up! That didn’t stop Laura and Xander having an amazing time though and I couldn’t have wished for anything more for them. I still can’t believe how stunning Laura looked only a few months after having a baby either!

Planning and Budget

Lots of varied Greens with Whites will always look perfect! Roses and Paperwhites smelt divine along with Ranunculus and Astrantia. Delphiniums and Larkspur gave the height where needed.

Ivy trails decorated and softened the White marquee with 3 hanging chandeliers and a long hanging plank above the top table.

Requirements included bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers, 10 tables and marquee installations

Budget needed approx. £3000 - £3500 (prices as of 2022)

Chuppah http://thehappychuppahpeople.com/

Wow this was a hot day in August, but wow what a lovely wedding for a such a wonderful couple!

The colours looked so delicious against the emerald Green dresses and I loved them on the wooden trestle tables too.

Talia and Alex married under the glorious shade of the enormous Lime tree at Hamswell House under a birch Chuppah that we decorated with twisting foliages and how glorious do the pops of Peachy Orange look?

Believe me when I say it was an incredibly hot day but Amy has done an amazing job of capturing the Summery feel of the day without the sweat!

Hats off to Caroline from The Planning Lounge for not only making sure the day went smoothly but also for thinking of those little extras like making sure we had water and supplying emergency suncream.

Planning and budget

Lots of full petalled peachy coloured Roses with a heady scent sat along side seasonal August Dahlia’s in tones from Apricot to pale Orange.

Requirements included bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers for the aisle and chuppah, tables for 150 people and marquee hanging installation.

Budget needed approx £2500 - £3000 (prices as of 2022)
