Weddings… they are stressful events for florists.
Let me give you a bit of confidential help and moral support, as and when you need it!
So you’ve just been on a floristry course, and you feel great!
You get your first enquiry and you are so excited…
but it gets closer to the date, and you feel a little tang of panic.
Don’t worry, that’s good for you; it means that this is important and that you care.
We’ve all been there, and whether it’s your very first wedding, a wedding that’s a step up from the ones that you have been doing, your first ever shoot, the first time in a new venue or your first big installation.
I’ve been there too, and it’s never as bad as you think.
You just need to be organised, you need to have a plan and you need to have someone who can help you to stay calm and focussed.

We’ll discuss your event, your hopes, fears and the outcome you’re looking for.
Floristry Mentoring: Pre-Plan
We’ll have a Zoom call a few weeks before your event to go through the plan, discuss flowers and mechanics and anything that you’re unsure of or worried about. We can talk through where to source any missing sundries, pricing/budget, how the day will work and I’ll send you a checklist of things to think about and items to prepare. Preparation and organisation are key!
On an agreed day leading up to your event, I will come to your place of work for three hours to put the plan into practice, check that any mechanics that you’ve made will work and talk through any anxieties. I can help make up anything that you’re unsure of, discuss the best ways to transport everything and keep you calm.
£250, plus travel costs from my home to your place of work.

Floristry Mentoring: Full Plan
In addition to the pre-plan Zoom call and practice day above, on the day of your event I’ll come along with you to the venue and stay on-site for up to 3 hours. I will help you to oversee the set-up and make the day a reality. Any questions I will answer, and any worries or self doubt I will allay.
Let’s make magic happen for you and the client, let’s get it done in a timely manner, let’s get some amazing photos for your portfolio and let’s celebrate !
April - September: £700, plus travel costs from my home to your place of work (plus accommodation if you are further than a 40 mile radius from BA3)
October - March: £500, plus travel costs from my home to your place of work (plus accommodation if you are further than a 40 mile radius from BA3)
